{"id":105,"date":"2024-07-07T08:02:20","date_gmt":"2024-07-07T08:02:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/antonianshuttlers.com\/store\/?p=105"},"modified":"2024-07-07T08:02:23","modified_gmt":"2024-07-07T08:02:23","slug":"badminton-coaching-camp-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/antonianshuttlers.com\/store\/2024\/07\/07\/badminton-coaching-camp-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Badminton Coaching Camp 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Antonian Badminton Club (ABC) conducted a successful Badminton Coaching Camp from December 15th to 17th, at College Badminton Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The camp was conducted by the former Antonian Badminton legend Udaya Weerakone, ably supported by Senaka Monnekulama , Maufer Usoof and Nishantha Jayamanne with the backing of many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are also delighted that the Antonian Badminton Players had the privilege of gaining immense knowledge from the following Eminent personalities during <a><\/a>the recently concluded cocking camp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Subash Janaka &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Badminton World Federation Qualified Junior National Coach \/ Former National Player who has vast experience with international exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our players got an excellent physical &amp; on court skills training from him which will definitely help them compete better in the upcoming tournaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Ashoka Jayasundara<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Official Physical Trainer of Ministry of Sports &amp; Youth Affairs, who conducted a theoretical &amp; practical session to educate our players to reach professional standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tharaka Dasanayake<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor of Neurophysiology,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Head of Department of Neurophysiology at University of Peradeniya,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">who was instrumental in delivering a presentation on psychological aspects important for a Sportsman to condition the mind on to a winning streak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ABC would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tharaka Dasanayake,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Junior National Coach Subash Janaka<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&amp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">National Physical Trainer Ashoka Jayasundara<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For their great contribution towards grooming our players to uplift their competing standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ABC hopes to conduct similar camps in the future providing the much needed technical and professional support to our young Badminton players to reach the pinnacle of schools Badminton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/antonianshuttlers.com\/store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/411771479_122115878654108260_7388872042406556851_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-85\" srcset=\"https:\/\/antonianshuttlers.com\/store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/411771479_122115878654108260_7388872042406556851_n.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/antonianshuttlers.com\/store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/411771479_122115878654108260_7388872042406556851_n-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/antonianshuttlers.com\/store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/411771479_122115878654108260_7388872042406556851_n-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/antonianshuttlers.com\/store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/411771479_122115878654108260_7388872042406556851_n-600x450.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Antonian Badminton Club (ABC) conducted a successful Badminton Coaching Camp from December 15th to 17th, at College Badminton Stadium.
