The Antonian Badminton Club (ABC) conducted a successful Badminton Coaching Camp from December 15th to 17th, at College Badminton Stadium.
The camp was conducted by the former Antonian Badminton legend Udaya Weerakone, ably supported by Senaka Monnekulama , Maufer Usoof and Nishantha Jayamanne with the backing of many others.
We are also delighted that the Antonian Badminton Players had the privilege of gaining immense knowledge from the following Eminent personalities during the recently concluded cocking camp;
Mr. Subash Janaka –
Badminton World Federation Qualified Junior National Coach / Former National Player who has vast experience with international exposure.
Our players got an excellent physical & on court skills training from him which will definitely help them compete better in the upcoming tournaments.
Mr. Ashoka Jayasundara
Official Physical Trainer of Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs, who conducted a theoretical & practical session to educate our players to reach professional standards.

Tharaka Dasanayake
Professor of Neurophysiology,
Head of Department of Neurophysiology at University of Peradeniya,
who was instrumental in delivering a presentation on psychological aspects important for a Sportsman to condition the mind on to a winning streak.
